In preparation for the 2026 season we are on a mission to refurbish our outdoor cricket nets and purchase four new sightscreens but we need your help to make it happen! We have been fortunate enough to have been successful in applying for funds from Sport England's Movement Fund and if we raise 50% of the total costs from at least 25 individual supporters, Sport England will award us the other 50% to help us reach our target of £13,854. With Christmas and the New Year out of the way focus now turns to the start of the cricket season but before then we have 2 great events scheduled at the club in the coming weeks. We are delighted to announce the signing of Nandus McLean as our Overseas Amateur for the 2026 North West Cricket League season Nandus is an 18 year old (19 in December) South African who is a top order right hand batter, right arm off spinner and wicket keeper So far this season in South Africa Nandus has scored 779 runs at an Average of 51.9 with a high score of 152 and his most recent  scores have been 57, 57, 18, 18, 83, 152, 63, 66, 36 This will be Nandus’s first season
