2026 North West Cricket League Championship League Winners

The 2026 season will go down in the history books for the 1st team as they have been crowned champions of the North West Cricket League Championship

Yesterday was their final game of the season and they rounded it off with a 6 wicket victory over Walkden followed by the league trophy presentation

It’s 30 years since the 1st team last won the league title and yesterdays team included 8 players who have come up through our junior ranks which is a fantastic achievement

Under the captaincy of Jake Hargreaves over the season they have played 22 league matches, winning 16, losing 4 and having 2 rained off which has resulted in a points total of 207 points

A total of 17 players and 2 sub pro’s have represented the 1st team during the season in league matches so congratulations to everyone who has been involved
